West Northamptonshire Council would like to invite insurance service providers to an in person preliminary engagement session in respect of the insurance programme for the unitary council and it's wholly owned company The Daventry Estate Company Limited (TDECL). The current contractual arrangements are due to end at the end of March 2027. From April 2027 the council will require insurance cover to include: Property and Business Interruption (including commercial properties, housing and leasehold housing) Contract Works Public and Employers Liability Officials Indemnity Professional Indemnity Motor Crime Personal Accident and Travel Computers

The council will be conducting in person premarket engagement sessions at our One Angel Square offices in Northampton in June and early July 2026. Event Details • Dates: 19th June and 6th July • Times: to be agreed according to interest • Location: One Angel Street, Northampton, NN1 1ED This session will provide: • An overview of the forthcoming tender • An opportunity to understand the insurance requirements and procurement processes within West Northamptonshire. • A chance for providers to ask questions and share feedback before the procurement process begins Sessions will be limited to one organisation with a max of two attendees per insurer. In attendance will be members of the insurance services, finance, property, housing and procurement teams and representatives from Arthur J Gallagher. To ensure fair access for all providers, we kindly ask that no more than two representatives attend from each organisation. To express your interest and support us with this exercise, please email Richard_Berry@ajg.com to register your attendance and for further details by Friday 5th June 2026.
