Summary of the contracting process

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon and Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for the "Male Ally Network Training Pilot Programme - Cornwall." This initiative, classified under training services within the public authority sub-central government sector, is focused on developing a pilot scheme for a Male Ally Training Network intended to foster allyship in Cornwall. The procurement is at the engagement phase, inviting market insights and feedback until the deadline on 8th July 2026. The process is expected to further develop up to the notice date of 23rd July 2026, with the contract period proposed to run from 1st September 2026 to 31st March 2027. Interested parties are encouraged to provide feedback through a Market Engagement Questionnaire accessible via the In-Tend Portal.

This tender offers a promising opportunity for businesses specialising in training services, especially those capable of innovative and effective programme delivery models suited for a community-based network. Enterprises, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and third-sector organisations (VCSEs), are particularly well-suited to explore the potential to pioneer approaches for developing a Male Ally Network in the region. Engaging in this process allows businesses to showcase their capabilities, provide vital feedback that could shape the final tender, and potentially participate in subsequent procurement opportunities that align with the programme's scope and objectives.
