Summary of the contracting process

The Historic Royal Palaces, a public authority within the sub-central government, is currently in the planning stage for a procurement process titled "Market Engagement Event - School Presenter Tender." This venture focuses on providing educational and entertainment services, particularly in primary and secondary education categories, across several historic sites. The main locations include Kensington Palace, Hampton Court Palace, and the Tower of London, with events potentially at the Banqueting House at Whitehall. A Market Engagement Event is scheduled on 29th July 2026 at Hampton Court Palace. Interested suppliers must express their intent to attend by 20th July 2026, with the tender process commencing in August 2026 and the contract expected to begin in mid-2027, lasting for a three-year period with potential extension. The process requires registration via HRP's e-tendering system, Delta e-Sourcing.

This tender offers extensive business growth opportunities for organisations with expertise in interactive educational sessions delivered by costumed presenters within heritage environments. Businesses adept at managing large-scale educational programmes across multiple sites will find this opportunity particularly advantageous. The services will target a wide educational age range from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 5 and will occasionally extend to community sessions. Prospective suppliers are expected to demonstrate a commitment to high-quality service delivery, inclusive practices, and robust safeguarding measures. While agencies and consortium bids are not eligible, the potential for subcontracting exists, aligning with HRP's historical and educational values.
