Hyde Housing Association Ltd. is planning a UK-wide NEC Housing application support service and consultancy contract. The future contract is expected either to run for one year with a one-year extension option, or for two years with a further one-year extension option. The indicative contract period is 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2028, with a possible maximum end date of 31 October 2029. The published maximum potential value is £500,000 gross for three years; Hyde says its budget and market-rate view are still being developed.

The engagement is intended for suppliers that can shape a practical future service model as well as deliver it. Relevant organisations are likely to have proven capability in NEC Housing application support, housing-sector systems and packaged-software consultancy. The requirement should suit teams able to provide reliable BAU support alongside one-off changes, configuration, software development, maintenance, repair and user helpdesk services. Experience supporting operating systems, databases and other NEC-dependent components will be useful, as will the capacity to combine application expertise with wider technical support. Providers that can explain feasible service packaging, scope and delivery approaches should be well placed to contribute to Hyde’s market understanding before any later procurement.

Hyde Housing Association Ltd. ("Hyde") is carrying out a Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) exercise for a provider who can deliver NEC Housing Application Support Service and Consultancy. The requirement is split between BAU support of the system, one-off requirements and other optional support of the NEC dependent components such the operating system and data base. Further details can be found in the associated PME questionnaire published with this notice. The expectation is that the contract would be for either one year with the option to extend for another year, or two years with the option to extend for an additional year at the sole discretion of Hyde. The Contract Start and End dates noted within this notice are indicative only. Please note the Total Value included within this notice is for the maximum potential contract period of three years and was added solely due to publication restrictions. Planning Information

Hyde seeks input from the market to understand what might be the most attractive and feasible way of packaging and scoping a future procurement opportunity to deliver the project outcomes. This PME exercise will provide an opportunity for Hyde to obtain insight into how contractors might approach the delivery of the project. It also gives a useful early insight into the likely level of interest in a potential project and availability from the market. Interested organisations will be asked to complete and return a brief questionnaire. Interested organisations must submit their completed questionnaire via the portal in accordance with the instructions set out in the PME documentation, by the return deadline of 12:00 pm (noon) on 06/08/2026. At the absolute discretion of Hyde, respondents may then be invited to meet with the project team to discuss in more detail their responses. Organisations will not be prejudiced by any response, failure to respond to the PME or failure to attend any follow up meetings that may be arranged at the absolute discretion of Hyde. Organisations must also note that a response to this notice does not guarantee an invitation to participate in this or any future procurement that Hyde may conduct, nor that Hyde will procure any such services or accepts any proposals offered.
