Summary of the contracting process

Trinity House, a public authority based in London, is actively seeking a supplier for their 'Maximo Upgrades' project within the software and information systems industry. This procurement process is currently in the tender stage, with the submission deadline set for the 21st of August 2026. The project involves three key work packages and is valued at approximately £692,000. The procurement method being employed is an open, competitive flexible procedure, inviting businesses that meet specific conditions of participation. The successful bidder will have the opportunity to start the contract from the 3rd of November 2026, with potential extensions reaching up to 2031.

This tender offers a significant opportunity for businesses that specialise in IT services, specifically those with expertise in managing and upgrading IBM’s Maximo Application Suite. Companies capable of providing second-line support and acting as a third-party reseller for the IBM Passport Advantage subscription are particularly well-suited to bid. Trinity House requires demonstrable previous success in upgrading Maximo applications, solid financial standing, and robust security credentials. SMEs are encouraged to apply, potentially benefiting from a long-term contract with up to five years of extensions possible, fostering business stability and growth.
