Summary of the contracting process

Trinity House is procuring Maximo-related software services from one supplier for its IT estate across the United Kingdom. Strong bidders will be able to demonstrate successful Maximo-to-MAS upgrades for both on-premises and cloud-hosted solutions, supported by a credible transition project plan and consultancy methodology. They will need to provide ongoing second-line support with a suitable service level agreement and offer clear fixed pricing for each work package, price stability and cost-adjustment arrangements. Technical capability must include single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, secure Microsoft 365 integration, encryption in transit and at rest, data ownership protections and UK GDPR compliance. Cyber Essentials is the minimum stated security accreditation. Suppliers also need suitable financial standing, insurance cover and evidence addressing employment, skills and pay inequality.

Notice Description

Trinity House wishes to procure three work packages (through one supplier): 1) Act as the third-party reseller to facilitate our IBM Passport Advantage subscription. This will be for an initial year's term with the option for four subsequent years. This may include providing additional licences as may be required in the future. 2) Provision of 2nd Line Support. Trinity House IT will act as 1st Line Support and IBM can be seen as the 3rd Line Support under the Passport Advantage subscription. 3) Upgrade Maximo from our current version, 7.6.1, to the latest stable supported Maximo Application Suite (MAS) deployment. Provide other Maximo related consultancy as may be required from time to time.
