Summary of the contracting process

Orbit Group Limited is seeking consultancy support to develop an appropriate target cost model for its Planned Investment programme. The model will support property and home improvement works, remediation and major projects across Orbit’s housing stock in all regions of the United Kingdom. The requirement combines financial consultancy, building and construction consultancy, and business and management consultancy services. The successful consultant will help shape a cost model for Orbit’s future planned investment requirements and strategy. The work is managed by Orbit Group Limited, based in Coventry, and is intended for organisations able to advise on the commercial and delivery arrangements for a large housing investment programme.

The contract period is from 17 August 2026 to 1 July 2027. Notice Description

Orbit invites interested parties to submit proposals to support the development of an appropriate target cost model for Orbit's Planned Investment programme in accordance with this project brief. Bidders are invited to submit proposals by COB Thursday 6th August 2026 in accordance with the documentation available on the Procontract portal. The target cost model will be expected to support delivery of Orbit's Planned Investment - Property/Home Improvement, Remediation, and Major Projects requirements to its housing stock in all regions from 1st April 2028 for a period of up to 15 years. Further details are set out in the Consultants brief, available on Procontract. The client reserves the right to modify the contract throughout the term.
