Manchester City Council's Public Realm Team is seeking to engage with the market to inform the potential procurement of a contract for the cleaning and maintenance of the Council's 103 heritage assets. The proposed contract will provide for the regular cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of these assets in accordance with an agreed programme and schedule of works. The Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor with demonstrable expertise in heritage asset maintenance, conservation, and restoration. This preliminary market engagement is intended to: * Assess market interest and supplier capacity. * Provide further information regarding the assets included within the scope of the proposed contract and address any related queries. * Outline the anticipated procurement process and indicative timetable.

The session is expected to last approximately two hours and will include a series of short presentations, together with an opportunity to engage directly with representatives from the Public Realm and Procurement Teams. The event will take place at: The Friends Meeting House Room G1 6 Mount Street M2 5NS Date: 4 September 2026 between 10.00 and 12.30 Registration Attendance at this event is by pre-registration only, Due to venue capacity, attendance is strictly limited to 25 people. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure broad market participation, the Authority reserves the right to limit the number of attendees from any one organisation. Suppliers wishing to attend must register their interest by emailing publicrealm2@manchester.gov.uk with the Supplier Day in the subject header no later than two working days prior to the event.
