Summary of the contracting process

Public Services Delivery Scotland, acting for NHS Scotland, is procuring fertility medicines for supply to NHS Scotland organisations and Integrated Joint Boards across Scotland. The requirement covers pharmaceutical products, including the medicines and associated product lines described in the invitation to tender. Suppliers and subcontractors must have valid BS EN ISO 9001 certification or an equivalent quality standard. Products must meet MHRA best-practice and National Patient Safety Agency requirements for packaging and labelling. Any medical devices or associated ancillaries must comply with UK Medical Devices Regulations and carry the required declaration of conformity and a valid CE, CE UKNI or UKCA mark. Bidders must also submit a climate-change plan and support community-benefit delivery, including recent Scottish outcomes or engagement with NHS Scotland’s Community Benefits Gateway.
