Summary of the contracting process

The City and County of Swansea is procuring up to 10 highways chassis cab vehicles, together with associated goods and services, for use in Swansea. The requirement covers five possible vehicle specifications: 7-tonne dropside chassis cabs with a cabinet and either a hydraulic or electric crane; 7-tonne tipper chassis cabs with a cabinet and either an electric or hydraulic crane; and 3.5-tonne dropside chassis cabs with a cabinet. Vehicles may be selected from any of these specifications, depending on the tender outcome and the Council’s service needs. This is a goods procurement for transport equipment and related products.
