Notice Title
Health and Safety Software Solution
Notice Description
The University of Portsmouth Higher Education Corporation ("the University") is undertaking pre-market engagement to seek views from experienced suppliers on its proposal for the implementation of a comprehensive health and safety (H&S) software solution across the University. This will replace current manual processes, reduce overall risk and support real-time monitoring and data-driven decision-making. The University has approximately 3,500 employees and 25,000 students. There are five faculties comprising of various individual schools, and then central academic and professional services. It is expected that any user can access the software to report a concern or incident and raise a query. It is anticipated that around 500 staff are likely to require enhanced access to complete processes such as risk assessments and inspections. A further 15 staff are likely to be full administration users of the system who can access dashboards, run reports and carry out audit or incident investigations.
Planning Information
Suppliers interested in participating in this pre-market engagement exercise are required to access the University's e-tendering portal, In-Tend via the link https://in-tendhost.co.uk/port/aspx/Home and locate the project using the reference number 25-541. Once logged into the project, suppliers should download and review the accompanying pre-market engagement document, which contains detailed information regarding the proposed software requirement, project objectives, and key areas of interest. Following their review, suppliers are invited to complete the questionnaire provided and submit their responses through the In-Tend portal no later than Midday on 2nd October 2026. Responses received will be used to help inform the development of the procurement strategy and specification and will not form part of any future tender evaluation.
