Summary of the contracting process

Wales and West Housing Association Ltd is seeking suppliers for flooring supply and installation across its housing portfolio throughout Wales. The work covers the supply and delivery of flooring materials, measuring, floor preparation, installation, finishing and removal of waste, to provide complete flooring installations in residents’ homes. The buyer invited offers through an open competition. The overall estimated value is £2.5 million excluding VAT (£3 million including VAT). The five regional lots are North Wales (£700,000), Mid Wales (£150,000), South Wales (£1.25 million), West Wales (South Dyfed) (£200,000) and South Wales (North Dyfed) (£200,000), all excluding VAT. The enquiry deadline was 30 October 2026 at 17:00; the tender submission deadline was 16 November 2026 at 12:00. Each lot’s contract period is 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028, with an option to extend for two further 12-month periods, up to 31 December 2030. Notice Description

Wales & West Housing Group (WWHG) is seeking to appoint suitably experienced and qualified suppliers to provide a responsive, high-quality flooring supply and installation service across its housing portfolio throughout Wales. The service will form a key part of WWH's commitment to providing safe, comfortable and well-maintained homes for residents. The Supplier shall be responsible for the supply, delivery and installation of flooring materials together with all associated measuring, floor preparation, finishing works and waste removal necessary to achieve a complete installation in accordance with this Specification. All works shall be undertaken in compliance with applicable legislation, Welsh Housing Quality Standards (WHQS), relevant British Standards, manufacturer recommendations and industry best practice.
