Notice Title
MOPAC: Community Support, Mental Health and Neurodiversity Support for Priority Offenders
Notice Description
MOPAC is commissioning a new service, or services, to provide mental health and neurodiversity support to priority offenders who are open to the Probation Service. The service(s) will carry out assessments and undertake therapeutic interventions to address the underlying criminogenic needs of priority offenders. In addition, the service(s) will undertake neurodiversity screening and support individuals on probation to manage their neurodiversity related needs throughout the duration of their order and/or licence. The commissioned service(s) will also be expected to work closely with probation practitioners, supporting the ongoing development of their knowledge and understanding of mental health and neurodiversity within the criminal justice system. MOPAC is currently considering structuring the procurement as two separate lots: one focused on mental health support and the other on neurodiversity support. The final budget allocation between the two lots is yet to be determined; however, both services are expected to operate concurrently for the same contract duration. The estimated contract value will be: Initial term (2 years): PS2,116,000 (PS1,058,000 per annum) Extension option 1 (1 year): PS1,058,000 Extension option 2 (1 year): PS1,058,000 Total potential contract value (including extensions): PS4,232,000.
