Notice Title

Flintshire CCTV Camera Upgrade Specification 20 New Replacement Cameras for Services

Notice Description

Introduction and ContextThis specification is to upgrade 20 old analogue CCTV cameras connected to Flintshire Council's Public Space CCTV system with new cameras.Because it is cost prohibitive to upgrade BT Redcare fibre optic links to carry IP data, new cameras will need to be Hybrid cameras and operate in Analogue Mode initially (PAL+RS485) but be able to run as ONVIF IP Cameras in the future when an IP network extends to the cameras. However, within Mold there is a Council owned private fibre network that runs back to the Council CCTV Control Room and for these locations it is possible to use the new camera in High Definition IP Mode if the bidder also upgrades the fibre optic equipment
