The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board to procure a passive RFiD system to enable staff to confidently locate a range of medical equipment in our intensive care, main theatres and Clinical Engineering departments. We require an adequate number of RFiD readers, antennae, handheld readers, RFiD tags, RFiD printers, software and licences to sufficiently cover these areas with scope for expanding. We want to work with a provider who can support us with the initial roll-out and have potential for future expansion and development of the RFiD system to other areas.
