Surface Water Sewer Relining Contract at various locations within the Vale of GlamaorganNOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=118599.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility. A user guide is available at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/sitehelp/help_guides.aspx.Suppliers are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response well in advance of the closing time to avoid any last minute problems. 2 Year contract with option of third year extensionThe re-lining works are required on a range of pipe sizes and construction materials. Therefore, the tenderers attention is drawn to the appendices at the end of the document where site plans and Bills of Quantities can be found.A site visit to all sites by the service provider is highly recommended.The majority of The Services will be undertaken on weekdays between the hours of 0930hrs and 1500hrs. However, weekend/night work will be considered by the authorising office at the request of the tenderer.Bidders may request clarification on this Invitation to Tender by contacting the Council no later than 12:00 noon Monday 28th February 2022.(WA Ref:118599)Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority's economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations.
