Notice Description

The Vale of Glamorgan Council ("the Council") requires the services of an Auction House for the sale of Council vehicles and plant equipment and other associated services ("the Services").The agreement will be in the form of a framework and will operate for a period of two (2) years, with the option to extend for up to an additional one (1) year.You are invited to quote for provision of these Services.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=118777.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility. A user guide is available at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/sitehelp/help_guides.aspx.Suppliers are advised to allow adequate time for uploading documents and to dispatch the electronic response well in advance of the closing time to avoid any last minute problems. Bidders may request clarification on this Request for Quotation by contacting the Council through the Sell2Wales procurement portal no later than 12:00 noon 4th March 2022.(WA Ref:118777)Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority's economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations.
