Notice Description
The council required a provider for the Refurbishment / Conversion of a Vacant Golf Clubhouse to a New Youth Centre Facility at the Former Virginia Park Golf Club, Caerphilly.The scope of the project was described in the ITT but in summary the scope was to: Enabling Works:o Discharge of Planning Conditions (very limited anticipated as Change of Use only)o Strip out existing loose / fixed fittings on both the Ground & First Floorso Removal of coveringso Demolish non-loading walls, doors, external openings on both the Ground & First Floors as per the Demolition Plans New Works:o Form new partitioned spaces as per the GA Plans including associated wall,floor and ceiling finisheso Replace existing internal doorso Replace existing external windows and doorso Provide 3No new external openings and windowso Undertake making good to the building fabric / facade as per Building Survey Reporto Provide new office / multi-purpose / toilet / tea point / circulation facilitieso Provide loose / fixed fittings on both the Ground & First Floors as per the GA Planso Provide associated MEP Services as per consultants detailso Undertake making good to broken / missing roof tiles and roof lightso Provide openings for 2No new extended roof lightso Internal / external decorationso Provide new internal / external signageo Undertake localised soft / hard landscaping Anticipated Key DatesThis notice is to inform the market of contract award

"eligibilityCriteria": "- Bidders must provide evidence they have successfully delivered a refurbishment / conversion project asPrincipal Contractor / Lead Contractor to provide a building of similar nature and function (Example: School, Youth Centre / Community Hall) above a value of PS300,000.00 within the last five years.- Bidders must provide evidence they have carried out work on a live operational site within the last five years as Principal Contractor / Lead Contractor?-Bidders must provide evidence they have successfully delivered a refurbishment / conversion project as Principal Contractor / Lead Contractor with a Local Authority that werecompleted both on schedule and within the tender return sum.- Bidders must confirm that they are registered to a Safety Schemes inProcurement (SSIP) organisation and that you have completed the Healthand Safety evaluation as set out in Section C4 of the tender document.- Bidders must provide evidence they hold Employers Liability and Public Cover insurance, having a minimum cover of PS10,000,000.00.- Bidders must confirm that their company is registered with Constructionline and that their accreditation is currently verified?- Bidders must provide information on what actions their organisation will commit to undertake to meet the Well Being Goals and Future Generations Act 2015 when undertaking this contract.",
