DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

This public procurement record has 2 releases in its history.

Summary of the contracting process

Denbighshire County Council is seeking contractors for the "Castell Dinas Bran Gatehouse Renovation" project, part of a larger initiative called “Our Picturesque Landscape” funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. This procurement falls under the 'works' category and is currently in the Award stage. The project aims to enhance the historical site's visitor experience, with the tender application deadline having closed on 30th March 2022, and the award decision announced on 1st July 2022. The site is located in Ruthin, Wales and has drawn significant interest due to its historical and architectural significance.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for construction firms, especially those with expertise in historical monument restoration, archaeological services, or museum-based projects. Companies specialising in excavation work, preservation services of historical buildings, and those with experience in working on projects that require compliance with heritage conservation regulations would be particularly well-suited to compete. Engaging with this project can provide contractors access to future contracts linked to cultural heritage initiatives, potentially leading to expanded business prospects.
