Systems mapping and analysis for understanding the drivers of dietary choices in Wales
Notice Description
This contract is to specifically look at the demand element of the food system in respect of food purchasing and dietary choices being made by people in Wales.The aim of this research is to:* Use systems thinking and analysis to improve the understanding of function of the UK food system and how these influences and drives food choices and dietary decisions at a household level, inside and outside of the home environment. (Officials have suggested a household, as one person tends to purchase food for a family (or single household), within a family there may be a range of values in relation to food, (NB officials are not wedded to this proposition).* Create a detailed food system map or maps to articulate the complex environment that drives dietary choices, whilst also supporting Government officials to understand how the system works.
