Notice Description

Care inspectorate Wales (CIW) is the independent regulator of social care and childcare in Wales.Part of CIW's remit is to provide effective registration for providers of services and this includes ensuring that registration applicants/ registered providers have appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificates.CIW contracts out elements of its administration of the DBS process which requires a third party to provide a fully managed bilingual service to CIW's applicants/ registered providers, deliver a process for checking the identity of the DBS applicant, provide helpdesk support and countersign DBS checks in line with requirements.The service will manage on-line applications for DBS checks including standard, enhanced and enhanced with barring list checks as appropriate.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=128281.
