Lot 1
Contract for the delivery of the Quality Mark for Youth Work in Wales programme along with development work that will include strengthen and more inclusive approach. The proposed activity supports the delivery of the Programme for Government commitment to develop and take forward the recommendations of the Interim Youth Work Board. Specifically, it contributes to work in response to the recommendation that 'Welsh Government should establish a framework to support innovation within youth work services in Wales in order to improve standards within the sector'. The Quality Mark for Youth Work in Wales has been developed with two elements; the Quality Standards - a set of Indicators that organisations can use to self-assess the quality and impact of their work, and an externally assessed Quality Mark that is a national award demonstrating the quality of an organisation's youth work. This requirement is to deliver and further develop the Quality Mark for Youth Work in Wales across youth work providers, including all local authorities and voluntary organisations; local and national.
