Notice Description

The North Wales Wildlife Trust wishes to appoint an independent, professional external evaluator to assess how the Living With Beavers in The Dyfi Catchment Project has performed against its forecast objectives and outputs.Overall, the successful evaluating organisation will be required to advise and support the project in gathering evidence so that the evaluating organisation can produce an Evaluation Report at the end of the project.The following specific tasks are proposed:*Evaluate the effectiveness of achieving key outputs, outcomes and indicative targets*Evaluate the effectiveness of delivering actions for environmental & socio-economic benefits*Undertake periodic reviews and produce a final reportThe evaluator will be required to:*Assess the project's aims, outputs and outcomes and develop a methodology for the collation of data that is achievable within the budget and timeframe available (By end March 2025)*Brief project staff on the delivery of evaluation using the proposed methodology.*Assist in the gathering of qualitive and quantitative data by a range of methods as appropriate including methods such questionnaires, face to face meetings, interviews, running workshops/focus groups and similar with stakeholders as required.*Ensure that project staff are made aware at timely and regular intervals of the actions to be undertaken to gather data required.This project has received funding from the Nature Networks Fund (round two), which is being delivered by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, on behalf of the Welsh Government and in partnership with Natural Resources Wales.Bids to be no more than PS12,000 inclusive of VATDeadline 16:30 22nd April 2024
