B631/25 - The Provision of Banking Services for Bridgend County Borough Council
Notice Description
Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) is holding a Pre-Market Engagement Event for The Provision of Banking Services.The Provision of Banking Services is an important contract within the authority and when procuring, the Council will be seeking the provision of banking services both online and physical via branches where it is possible in the locality. As part of the services required the Council seeks to be able to process faster/next day or international payments, allow it to make BACS payments, collect Direct Debits, process payment files output from the Schools Information Management System (SIMS) (these are single files with multiple payee's. They are Text format), deposit monies and have the provision of cash available. There will be a need to administer many bank accounts with a variety of users and requirements.Prior to procuring, we are asking organisations for information and advice on the provisions the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) place on Banking institutions.One-to-one meetings will be held online via Microsoft Teams on 27th June 2024. To secure and book a one-to-one meeting please drop an email to tenders@bridgend.gov.uk, clearly stating in the subject - Pre Market Engagement Event for Banking Services and we can book in a suitable time for all parties.The objectives of the Pre-Market Engagement Process for BCBC are to:1. Understand the specific legal clauses established by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) that banking institutions must abide by.2.
