Peatland Restoration on the Berwyn SSSI
Notice Description
RSPB Cymru is looking to appoint a contractor to deliver works on the Berwyn SAC. The site is privately owned and is not a nature reserve. The contractor will restore the degraded blanket bog by blocking drainage ditches, gullies and peat pipes to raise the water table to the surface and create a network of pools. The work should be delivered to a high standard ensuring current land use is considered.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=144889.
