Swansea University's School of Psychology within the Faculty of Medicine, Health & Life Science, based at the University's Singleton Park campus has now awarded this contract for the purchase of Transcranial Electrical Stimulation equipment which is capable of transcranial electrical stimulation (including transcranial direct current stimulation, transcranial random noise stimulation and transcranial alternating current stimulation) and electroencephalogram (with a minimum of 32 channels and with 24-bit EEG recordings) monitoring capabilities.The transcranial electrical stimulation equipment will need to monitor the activity of multiple neural networks simultaneously together with the ability to causally modulate the activity of these networks and be optimized for comfort and simplicity in setup to facilitate data collection even from sensitive and heterogenous populations
