Notice Description

The supplier will identify and recommend a default video conferencing platform, and suggesting reasonable adjustments, to ensure accessibility for their employees who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus. The supplier will conduct desk-based research on the video conferencing platforms MS Teams and Zoom, will support decision making in selecting a default platform and in making reasonable adjustments for employees. The supplier will produce and submit an independent report comparing the features and functionality of specific license levels and versions of MS Teams and Zoom which includes:a comparison of the benefits and drawbacks of each platform against an agreed set of areas including, but not limited to, caption personalisation and quality, functionality for sign language interpreters and speech-to-text reporters functionality recommendation of default platform, accessibility adjustments to be considered for each platform, based on agreed needs profile, considerations for Social Care Wales's translation needs in meetings (English/Welsh and British Sign Language)
