C139/2024/2025 - Royal Welsh Show 2025 to 2027 Welsh Government Stand Build
Notice Description
Award Notice of contract from the Communication & Marketing Framework F228-2022-2023 - Lot 4 Stand design and build.The Welsh Government's Climate Change and Rural Affairs Communications team requires the provision of an exhibition and meetings area, within an existing building situated at the Royal Welsh Showground, Llanelwedd, Builth Wells during the Royal Welsh Show (RWS).The overall purpose of the exhibition is to provide a platform for the promotion of Climate Change and Rural Affairs' priorities, as well as the Welsh Government's Programme for Government, in respect of the farming industry in Wales and the sustainability of rural communities. It will also enable Welsh Government officials to engage directly with the farming and rural community on a range of issues such as the Sustainable Farming Scheme, small grants, Agricultural Pollution Regulations, animal health and welfare issues and more. The pavilion will also provide a location for Welsh Ministers and senior officials to host engagements, seminars and meetings during the show.The building will be visited by significant numbers of people attending the RWS to find out more information about the Welsh Government. Over the four days, around 250,000 visitors normally attend the Show. The dates of the RWS for the three years are as follows (These dates are subject to change):* 21 - 24 July 2025* 20 - 23 July 2026* 19 - 22 July 2027The overall design of the exhibition must have a modern, contemporary look and feel friendly and inviting (reflecting the fact that our customers in the farming community are not always comfortable to engage with "officialdom"). It must also incorporate interactive and modern technological elements to help engage with the general public and farming customers attending the event, in line with our desire to help the farming industry modernise and further professionalise.
