A-MSK group educates and researchers several topic areas and sub-disciplines of aging and Musculoskeletal physiology and biomechanics. The current focus areas are Osteoarthritis and Meniscal surgery, with particular consideration for muscle and joint adaptation caused by the disease/injury and following treatment/surgical interventions.This equipment supports a range of projects and teaching in the areas of aging and Musculoskeletal physiology and biomechanics. This directly supports fundamental and applied research/teaching in and joint architecture, anthropometrics and neuromuscular phenotypes.A Portable Ultrasound is required for understanding the neuromuscular capacity of aging, disease and following significant trauma requires high quality motor unit assessment.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.
