DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

This public procurement record has 1 release in its history.

Summary of the contracting process

Denbighshire County Council, a regional authority based in Ruthin, is currently in the planning stage of a public procurement process for an ITSM Workflow Management system. This initiative aims to explore market offerings for a potential replacement of their existing ITSM system. The procurement falls under the services category, specifically targeting software packages and information systems. The Council is seeking input from suppliers who can provide a solution that includes incident management, problem management, and several other critical IT service management functionalities. Interested parties must submit a summary of their software’s features by 30th June 2025, as the Council seeks to engage with suppliers through virtual demos.

This opportunity could significantly benefit businesses specialising in IT service management systems, particularly those offering ready-to-use, minimally configurable solutions. Companies with expertise in integrating ITSM solutions with existing device management tools like SCCM and Intune stand to gain the most from competing in this process. Participation in these initial discussions can enable businesses to align their offerings with the Council’s needs, potentially paving the way for future procurement opportunities and enhancing their client portfolio. As the Council is focused on market engagement, this process may nurture new partnerships and showcase innovative solutions, enhancing growth prospects for involved businesses.
