POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSIONER FOR DYFED-POWYS

This public procurement record has 1 release in its history.

Summary of the contracting process

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Dyfed-Powys is initiating a tender process for the "Contract for the Provision of Tower Remedial Work." This project falls under the industry category of works, involving maintenance and remedial tasks on various radio communication structures within secured and regulated sites. The buying organisation is based in Carmarthen, with the tender at the "tender" stage as of 30th July 2025. Key dates include the tender submission deadline on 15th August 2025 and an anticipated award date around 5th September 2025. The procurement method is open, providing equal opportunities for qualified candidates to submit proposals.

This tender represents a significant business opportunity, particularly for specialist contractors experienced in tower maintenance and remedial work. Companies with proven delivery of similar projects and adequate technical credentials, specifically in working at height, are invited to compete. National Police Vetting (NPV) Level 2 clearance for staff members is required, ensuring compliance with security standards. The adoption of a JCT Minor Works Contract format further implies the need for contractors capable of delivering professional standards within specified timelines. This could be a growth opportunity for businesses focusing on radio tower maintenance, structural painting, and those with the ability to manage multiple trade involvements under Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 guidelines.
