Notice Title
Portable Ultrasound Machine with Specialised Phased Array Cardiac, Linear & Non-imaging Probes
Notice Description
This procurement process is to source a suitable supplier of high-end portable Ultrasound Machine with specialised phased array cardiac, linear and non-imaging probes. The aim and purpose of the equipment is to offer the possibility of high-quality clinical research imaging to be acquired in remote locations with underserved populations. Recent research has laid the foundation to explore how rapid urbanisation contributes to rising rates of cardiometabolic disease worldwide and to understand the earliest mechanisms of pathophysiology and disease, there is a need to include people whose lifestyles remain largely unaffected by urbanisation. However, such communities are often excluded from institutional research due to their remote locations, and a portable, high-end ultrasound machine would enable inclusive, community-based research.NOTE: The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process. To obtain further information record your interest on Sell2Wales at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/search/search_switch.aspx?ID=154743 (WA Ref:154743)The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.
