Notice Title

Arwain DGC: Veterinary Prescribing Champions App

Notice Description

The VPC app is intended to support Veterinary Prescribing Champions (VPCs) by providing a centralised, mobile-first platform that makes key resources and peer support easily accessible in their day-to-day work. The app must function as both an educational hub and a collaborative space. It will offer quick access to essential materials such as clinical guidelines, the VPC Code of Conduct, training resources, and downloadable AMS action plan templates. These resources must be well-organised, searchable, and filterable to allow users to find information quickly based on species, topic, or keyword. In addition to providing access to reference materials, the app will include a moderated forum where VPCs can share experiences, ask questions, and support each other in implementing best practices around antimicrobial use. Users will be able to personalise their experience by bookmarking content, saving action plans, and managing notifications. Where possible, key resources should be available offline to support use in the field. To ensure flexibility and ease of content management, the app will integrate with Sulu CMS, allowing administrators to update materials centrally without requiring code changes. The design must prioritise usability and accessibility, following standards such as WCAG 2.1 to accommodate users with varying levels of digital literacy and physical ability. Overall, the app will serve as a practical and innovative tool that strengthens the effectiveness and confidence of VPCs in delivering responsible antimicrobial stewardship.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=155583.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
