Notice Title
Travel For All User Research
Notice Description
The Welsh Government wishes to commission a research project to assess the accessibility of different travel modes across Wales, and how these can be addressed to achieve the objectives of the Welsh Government's travel for all approach.Evidence from this research will act as a baseline and inform future policy development in relation to the Travel for All approach outlined above. It is anticipated that in order to answer the research questions set out above, a mixed methods approach will be required. This will include the use of focus groups, mystery shopper activities and site visits. These will be done with members from a range of diversity groups including but not limited to ethnicity, disability, neurodivergence, age, sex, gender and social economic status.Due to the nature of this work, specific safeguarding procedures will need to be in place to protect participants from harm whilst carrying out sample journeys in the mystery shopper activity as well as during the focus groups. Relationships with advocacy groups to assist with this are strongly advised. The estimated contract value for this is PS50,000 (excl VAT).NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=156598.
