Viewpoint Housing Association intends to enter into a Framework Agreement with either one or two contractor(s) to provide reactive maintenance to their properties throughout Edinburgh and Fife. The Association have approx. 1108 properties in Edinburgh and surrounding areas and 244 in Fife. Bidders may apply for one or both Lots.

Viewpoint Housing Association intends to enter into a Framework Agreement with either one or two contractor(s) to provide reactive maintenance to their properties throughout Edinburgh and Fife. The Association have approx. 1108 properties in Edinburgh and surrounding areas and 244 in Fife. Bidders may apply for one or both Lots. The contract includes day to day reactive maintenance, emergency repairs and void property repairs. The call out timescales are: 2 hours for emergency repairs; 3 working days for urgent repairs and 8 working days for routine repairs. An appointment system with two appointment slots in the morning and two appointment slots in the afternoon will be required for each individual tradesperson. Saturday mornings with appointment slots will be included in the working week. Contractors must have live tracking facilities using pdas, tablets, website login and text message updates for tenants. Regular meetings at the Client's offices will be required. The contract will be let using the M3NHF Schedule of Rates Contract Version 6.3, however the Association will be investigating the option to move to an average order value contract during the lifespan of this Framework Agreement.
