Summary of the contracting process

The Common Services Agency, commonly known as NHS National Services Scotland, is planning to procure a Patient/Carer Online Feedback Service through a single supplier framework, aimed at serving all NHS Boards in Scotland. The tender, titled "Patient Opinion Website," is currently at the planning stage and seeks an off-the-shelf solution that requires minimal development. Interested parties must provide a response to the request for information by 16th January 2017. The procurement is valued at £200,000 and its execution will be based in Scotland.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in online feedback mechanisms, IT solutions, and customer service platforms, particularly those with experience in deploying and maintaining systems in healthcare settings. Companies that can demonstrate a capability to deliver moderation services, staff training, and ongoing support would be particularly well-suited for this contract, given the necessity for effective implementation across NHS Scotland. The successful contractor will not only enhance patient engagement but also contribute to the quality of healthcare services through improved feedback mechanisms.
