Energy Park Fife - Environmental Improvements (P17-0132)
Notice Description
The works are to comprise two principle elements: reinforced concrete slab with associated drainage adjacent to the BiFab fabrication shops and gabion basket retaining walls on the seaward face of the bing at the western end of the Park. The slab is to comprise reinforced concrete with new surface water drainage throughout. The slab is to support Extra Heavy SMPT loading. Some additional elements including services investigation, surface water soakaway construction and septic tank replacement and associated foul drainage will form part of the Contract. The retaining walls are to stabilise the seaward face of the bring and reduce washout from waves overtopping the existing rip rap defences. Works to the existing face will be required and some screening of site won material for fill will also form part of the Contract. Surface Water drainage is required to be installed at the rear of the wall.
