Summary of the contracting process

Clackmannanshire Council is seeking tenders for the "Transport for Education and Social Care Requirements" to deliver school and social care transport services within Clackmannanshire and extending to other areas as necessary. Notice Description

This procurement is concerned with obtaining best value for the provision of school and social care transport that the Council may require. The Council has a core vision for Clackmannanshire as an area where children, young people and vulnerable adults will be safe, enjoy good health and have access to a wide range of positive experiences and opportunities to enable them to achieve their potential. Enabling access to services, including through provision of transport, is a key component of this vision. The transport services to be procured will enable the Council to meet statutory requirements in providing transport for distance-entitled school pupils, while other transport provision will help to achieve the Council's objectives as regards the wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults in Clackmannanshire.
