The Scottish Government's Energy and Climate Change Directorate was seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor (hereinafter the Supplier) to undertake the development, administration and delivery of a new and innovative programme, the Climate Challenge Programme Malawi (CCPM). Based on the core principles of Scotland's successful domestic Climate Challenge Fund, the CCPM will be a strategic and integrated programme implementing a range of community-led projects in southern Malawi, via a team of remunerated on-the-ground development officers. The CCPM will support a select group of rural communities to identify and implement their own solutions for adapting to and building resilience against the worst effects of climate change.
