Lot Information

National Care Experience Surveys

National care experience surveys which are carried out across Scotland and have been designed by the Scottish Government. Framework Providers will either be commissioned by each NHS Board, by Scottish Government or their partners to undertake the fieldwork for these surveys. The data from these surveys may be analysed centrally by Scottish Government and Information Services Division, or in some cases the successful Framework ProviderS. The sample sizes of these surveys may range from 5,000 (e.g. Maternity Survey) to around 800,000 (e.g. Health and Care Experience survey).

Bespoke Local Patient Experience Surveys

Bespoke local patient experience surveys which will be commissioned on an ad hoc basis by NHS Boards or other public sector organisations on the basis of local need. Some of these survey tools will be locally designed, others may use established surveys, for example those from the Care Quality Commission where there are agreements in place for use in Scotland. The sample sizes for such surveys are dependent on the needs of local NHS boards but are likely to range from 500 to 50,000.
