The objective of this project is to improve the internal environmental conditions within the shower areas of Iona and Monro Halls at HMP & YOI Polmont, through the introduction of new extract systems.

The objective of this project is to improve the internal environmental conditions within the shower areas of Iona and Monro Halls at HMP & YOI Polmont, through the introduction of new extract systems dedicated to serving these areas, which are currently served through a common systems also serving the cell extraction provisions. Within both Halls two systems shall be provided, with one serving each wing. The Contractor shall provide the new systems complete with new duty and standby fans, complete with auto-changeover controls, all necessary attenuation and associated ductwork. The new systems shall be connected to the existing site BEMS.
