Falkirk Council is committed to improving the housing stock throughout the Falkirk Council area of operations whilst still maintaining the services to high levels of Best Value principals. Falkirk Council expects that our housing stock will meet the EESSH (Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing) by 2020. Supervisor Personnel (Applicable to Lots 1 and 2 Only): Service Provider's personnel in charge of the management and supervision of works being provided must be suitably qualified and experienced. Timber Sustainability (Applicable to Lots 2 and 3 Only): Lot 2 or Lot 3 Bidders shall Submit up-to-date Chain of Custody certificate(s) with their Tender. Successful Service Providers for Lots 2 and 3 must be able to satisfy Timber requirements from contract start date. All new timber and wood-derived products supplied must be from a Legal and Sustainable source. The Authority will only accept evidence from the following category: Category A evidence: Certification under a scheme recognised by the UK Government as meeting the criteria set out by the Department for the Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA), regulator for the UK Government Timber Procurement Policy (TPP). The edition current on the day the contract is awarded shall apply. Details of assessed certification schemes that currently meet UK Government requirements for Category A evidence can be found at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/timber-procurement-policy-tpp-prove-legality-and-sustainablity The Authority may reject any bid that cannot evidence that all timber and wood-derived products used in the framework meets this specification."
