Destination Development Industry Engagement for Glasgow
Notice Description
This is a Contract Award Notice. This contract has now been awarded. Please do not respond to this notice. Scottish Enterprise seeks to appoint a supplier to support the business engagement and destination development activity of Glasgow's Tourism and Visitor Economy Plan to 2023 which seeks to grow leisure visitors from 2m to 3m and create an additional 6600 jobs in Glasgow. The supplier will be required to develop and deliver a business engagement plan to develop new collaborations, products and services with 1300 businesses by 2020. They will work with partners (Visit Scotland & Glasgow Life) and industry groups to develop their capacity and contribution to the targets of the Tourism plan. This will be a 2 year contract with an option to extend by a further year. The activities and targets will be reviewed every 6 months. It is anticipated that the contract will commence early June 2017.
