The DLT programme had been resourced by permanent staff, agency staff and a contract for Software Development Support Services prior to June 2016. In June 2016 there was a need to procure a managed service to provide a Technical Architect role and other technical delivery roles on a more ad-hoc basis for the next 1 year with an option to extend for a further 1 year. This contract award notice refers to the extension period of 1 year. These services were procured through the Scottish Government Digital and Technology Services (DaTS) framework.
