Notice Description

HITRANS/THC will be the client for the supply and installation of the Smart Bus Stop Units (including Poles, Displays and Flags) in Inverness under the ERDF-funded Smart Mobility Inverness project, as detailed in the Specification as set out in Appendix 1 to this ITT. Each of the new installations should incorporate both a unique Quick Response (QR) code and a unique Near Field Communication (NFC) tag so that any passenger with an enabled smart phone will be able to access live passenger information via Traveline Scotland's website/mobile app in addition to the hard copy displays which will be erected in the display case. Bus stop poles should also have the capacity to accommodate new RTPI displays in the future.
