Rural Stirling H.A. Framework Agreement for Installation of Gas Central Heating Systems: '17 to '20
Notice Description
The works comprise the removal of existing electric storage heating installations and their replacement with new gas central heating installations, and all associated works. The initial order to be issued under the Framework will include for all properties detailed within the List of Addresses section of the invitation to tender document. The Client reserves the right to instruct further similar works at other locations as may be required over the course of the Framework Agreement.
Lot Information
Lot 1
It is the Association's intention that up to three Contractors will be appointed to the framework on the basis of the Price/Quality for the addresses to be called-off under the initial order (as detailed within the invitation to tender document). All contractors on the framework will be notified of their ranking, and the successful contractor for the initial Contract will be afforded the status of 'Preferred Contractor'. The initial order under the framework will be offered to the Preferred Contractor in the first instance, the price for the works will be based on the rates contained within the Tender and will be treated as a pilot for the any future works to be carried out under the Framework. Should the Preferred Contractor fail to perform to a satisfactory level or if they are unable to resource the works within the timescales required by the Association the initial works - and subsequent orders - will be offered to the contractor who is ranked second. This process will continue with the third placed contractor if the second placed contractor cannot commit to the works (nor perform to the required standard). The Framework Agreement shall be for a period of three years with the option, at the discretion of the Employer, to extend the agreement for a further one-year period thereafter.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016
Renewal: The Client reserves the right to extend the Agreement for a further one-year period from 1st October 2020.
