At least two of the four spire heads are in need of stabilization. Repairs are to be carried out in accordance with Architect/ Engineer's details. Replacement of details will require new stone to match existing which will require sample testing and petrographic analysis of existing stonework. Stabilization and repair will include dowelling and rebedding of existing stonework. Sample testing of existing mortars will be required. Work to include erecting of scaffolding to allow high level access with all necessary permits and certificates.",
