The existing roof tile type fitted to the properties is as detailed below: - Logan - existing tiles are Marley Wessex. New Cumnock - existing tiles are Russell Argyle. The Contractor shall be responsible for sourcing slope mounted vent tiles which are suitable in use with the above existing tile types. The selected vent tile must be suitable for use in such applications and must be capable of providing a watertight installation in all situations.",

The Myton Clyde Properties are non-traditional construction with roofs of dual-pitch construction with a slope of 15 degrees. The roofs are formed on steel trusses with no timber sarking boarding. Due to a lack of ventilation within the existing roof spaces there is an issue with condensation, hence the requirement to install the new slope mounted vent tiles. The selected vent tile must be suitable for use in such applications and must be capable of providing a watertight installation in all situations."
