Notice Description
West of Scotland Housing Association intend to enter into a Four-Year Contract with a Single Organisation to undertake all insurance services requirements and provide a claims management service in accordance with the information described within the tender documentation and Contract Notice. The Contract may be extended by one additional year at West of Scotland Housing Association's discretion subject to the satisfactory performance of the successful Bidder.

The Contract may be extended by one additional year at West of Scotland Housing Association's discretion subject to the satisfactory performance of the successful Bidder.. The Service Provider's performance will be reviewed regularly throughout the Four Year term of the Contract. Failure by the Service Provider to fulfil their obligations and requirements of the Contract stated within the tender documentation may result in suspension (temporary or permanent) of the Service Provider - Please refer to Document A for further information.

Question 4B.3 - Where turnover information is not available for the time period requested, the bidder will be required to state the date which they were set up or started trading. 4B.5.1 and 4B.5.2 - It is a requirement of this contract that bidders hold, or can commit to obtain prior to the commencement of any subsequently awarded contract, the types and levels of insurances indicated below: Employer's (Compulsory) Liability Insurance - 5,000,000 GBP Public Liability Insurance - 5,000,000 GBP Bidders, in relation to the organisation providing the insurance policy, must also hold a Standard and Poor's Financial Service (or equivalent organisation) 'A' rating or above at the date of their tender submission."

The response demonstrates a very good understanding of the requirements and provides adequate details on how the requirements will be fulfilled. 5 - Excellent - Response is completely relevant and excellent overall. The response is comprehensive, unambiguous and demonstrates a thorough understanding of the requirement and provides details of how the requirement will be met in full. If a response to an individual question is assessed as 'Poor' this may lead to rejection of a tender. West of Scotland Housing Association may disqualify any Bidder who: - Fails to achieve a minimum score of 24 marks (out of a potential 40 marks) against their responses to Section 5 - Quality Questionnaire; - Provides false or inaccurate information. West of Scotland Housing Association reserves the right to terminate the successful Bidders' Contract and all costs incurred by West of Scotland Housing Association as a result of the termination shall be recovered from the Bidder; - Submits their completed Tender response after the Tender Closing date and time.
