Summary of the contracting process

Highlands and Islands Enterprise is overseeing the SCALE Summer School 2018-19 tender, aimed at delivering a residential educational initiative focused on high-growth entrepreneurship in central Scotland. This is an AWARD notice for the Scotland Can Do SCALE Summer School of 2018 and 2019, led by Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Scottish Enterprise and the Scottish Funding Council.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The main speaker must be able to demonstrate that they meet the published minimum criteria in terms of their previous experience. This will be evaluated on a Pass/Fail basis. Full details are provided within the Tender documents. The contract is anticipated to be awarded for 2 years and has an estimated total value of between GBP230 000 and GBP260 000 excluding VAT. Bidders should note that any bid received which exceeds the maximum annual budget of GBP130 000 will be regarded as being unacceptable to HIE and consequently be considered non-compliant. It has not been split into Lots since it would make its execution excessively difficult.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

Options: HIE may require the supplier to provide additional services. Any such modification shall be in terms of Regulation 72 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
