NHS National Services Scotland is exploring the options for the possible procurement of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), on behalf of NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Diagnostics Directorate. The objective of this exercise is to obtain up-to-date information and feedback from the market in order to: - understand market capabilities and solutions in relation to the functionality required; and - provide NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde with indicative costs associated with the implementation and ongoing support of a suitable solution The information to be provided will help us better understand the market and consider the way forward. Views and suggestions will not be disclosed to third parties or used for any other purpose. Further information is provided in the Questionnaire document attached to this notice.

The objective of this exercise is to obtain up-to-date information and feedback from the market in order to: - understand market capabilities and solutions in relation to the functionality required; and - provide NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde with indicative costs associated with the implementation and ongoing support of a suitable solution The information to be provided will help us better understand the market and consider the way forward. Views and suggestions will not be disclosed to third parties or used for any other purpose. This exercise is being carried out in advance of any formal procurement process. It is not a pre-qualification or tendering exercise. The results of this exercise will be used to inform NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde's decision making process in respect of the implementation of a clinical solution and may or may not result in a future tendering exercise.
